Premios Oscar 2022: Guillermo del Toro y Eugenio Derbez entre los nominados

ESTADOS UNIDOS.- La Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas anunció este martes, 08 de febrero, a los nominados de la edición 94 de los Premios Oscar.

Entre las cintas que lideran esta edición de los Oscar están: “El poder del perro”, protagonizada por Benedict Cumberbatch, lidera la lista con 12 nominaciones; “Dune” de Denis Villeneuve con 10; y “Belfast”, de Kenneth Branagh, tiene 7 nominaciones.

México presente en los Premios Oscar

Esta ocasión México estará presente en los Oscar con las películas “Nightmare Alley” (El callejón de las almas perdidas) de Guillermo Del Toro y “CODA”, que cuenta con la participación de Eugenio Derbez, ya que ambas cintas forman parte de la lista ‘Mejor Película’.

“El callejón de las almas perdidas” tiene cuatro nominaciones en las categorías Mejor Película, Diseño de producción, Cinematografía y Diseño de Vestuario.

A pesar de que la película de Guillermo del Toro no logró posicionarse en la categoría de Mejor Director, la cinta competirá contra “Belfast”, “CODA”, “Conduce mi coche”, “Dune”, “No mires arriba”, “Pizza de regaliz”, y “Rey Ricardo”.

Por su parte, en la categoría Mejor película internacional las nominadas fueron “La mano de Dios”, “La peor persona”, “Conduce mi coche”, “Huye” y “Lunana: un yak en el aula”.

A su vez, Penélope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Kristen Stewart, Jessica Chastain y Olivia Colman, fueron nominadas a mejor actriz. En la misma categoría, pero en versión masculina se encuentran Will Smith, Denzel Washington, Javier Bardem, Benedict Cumberbatch y Andrew Garfield.

Los Oscar se llevarán a cabo el próximo 27 de marzo en el eatro Dolby de Los Ángeles, California.
